The Hotel Aalborg Amsterdam is located in The Pijp, and is next to many great Amsterdam attractions. The former Danish Consulate in Amsterdam is up the street and the hotel is across from Sarphati Park, one of the most acclaimed parks in Amsterdam. The area has many exotic restaurants including authentic Mediterranean, eastern and Surinamese restaurants, to name but a few, as well as typical Amsterdam pubs and coffee shops located on almost every corner. Across the park is the Amsterdam Albert Cuyp market which sells everything from furniture, to Dutch food delicacies, to clothing, and more. Should a museum be of interest, it will only be a 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes tram to the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh museum. There are trams stops situated right next to the hotel which bring you into the city center within 10 minutes.

From the Zuid ring take the exit S110, and from Utrecht (A2) follow the route S110: at the bridge over the Amstel river take the right lane, turn right (President Kennedylaan), continue straight along the river on the right side, at the 3rd traffic light turn left (Ceintuurbaan - further Sarphatipark). You will find the hotel after 800 metres on the left side. Direction from Schiphol Airport/Den Haag/Rotterdam:
From the Zuid ring take the exit S109, then turn right, at the roundabout again right (President Kennedylaan), follow straight on, along the Amstel river on the right side, at the 6th traffic light turn left (Ceintuurbaan - further Sarphatipark).
