It is also within an easy walk to a taxi stand and is a short taxi ride to the rail station. The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and interesting -- with exposed beams, brick and interesting angles due to the hotel's location on a narrow lot. It is very close to a busy road and can be noisy. The double layer of windows in the rooms blocks the noise very well. However, the air conditioning system in the rooms produced a low volume of cool air. Our stay was in October, so the temperature was adequate. But the weak a/c could make the room uncomfortable in warmer months when the windows are closed to avoid the street noise.
