Found the lift small given that it was an exceptionally tall building. Tight when close to strangers. Room was modern bright with clean room and bathroom. Returned again on our return form trip to san sebastion and delighted to be given our original rooms back. I thought it was good customer service. well done

THE HOTEL WASN'T AS NEAR TO THE BUS STATION AS I HAD BEEN LED TO BELIEVE FROM THE DIRECTIONS. WE DIDN'T EAT IN THE HOTEL AS WE ASKED FOR A SANDWICH IN THE BAR BEFORE LEAVING FOR THE BUS TO SAN SEBASTIAN AT 1.30 PM BUT THERE WAS NOTHING AVAILABLE. THEY DIRECTED US TO A SMALL RESTAURANT A FEW YARDS AWAY. THE HOTEL IS CLEAN AND THE BEDS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE, WITH A CLEAN AND WELL FURBISHED BATHROOM.

Hereby I would like to report the only confusion I had in the hotel -- the garage is connected by the lift only to the "executive" wing of the hotel. Since I stayed in other part ("non-executive" so to say), I was confused first time with finding my room, although I reached the right floor. You can't rebuild the hotel, I presume, but a sligtly better information how to leave the garage and reach the room would be very helpful. Otherwise great hotel. Regards, Nickolay

The location of the hotel is covenient for the Guggenheim. However, the hotel appeared to be understaffed. There was frequently only one person on the reception desk with a queue of people waiting for assistance. There was no porter available to help with baggage. The bar/lounge remained closed throughout our stay. The breakfast was limited and of medium quality only. One of the two male staff 'serving' breakfast had body odour. This Abba hotel was in direct contrast to its sister hotel in Burgos which we found to be excellent. If returning to Bilbao I would choose a different hotel.

The price was reasonable and I thought overall the hotel was very good value.
