Louis, the bartender at the hotel, would see me coming and prepare a wonderful whiskey toddy before bedtime for me. It was the kind of special care that one seldom gets anywhere.

The staff were very helpful and courteous, we arrived early and they were very happy to look after our luggage till the room was was ready. Only down side was that our booking said that we would have a mini bar and robes. None of these were in the room. When we asked we were told that the robes did not come with this type of room. This was slightly disappointing but would not stop us from staying there again. Also there was a towel on the window sill as there seemed to be water coming in from the window......which was closed.
