The location is excellent, near the Cathedral, atmospheric squares, botanical gardens, and the temting tapas bars. And it isby the sea too. There are splendid views from the roof-top restaurant and pool too. The staff are helpful and friendly in a discreet way, breakfast a healthy feast of natural produce. Though it must be said one could breakfast as the locals do in one of the many nearby cafes. I would say it is for the discerning traveller, one who appreciates dkiscreet chams of this hotel. I would definitely go back.

Hotel was spotless though not much ambience (especially the lobby) -- typical big city hotel but the location couldn't be faulted. Fairly quiet for a Spanish city which are notoriously noisy at night. However, would definitely recommend this hotel if you aren'tlookiing for "charm & character". We would have stayed at the Parador but it was full.

Room was average for money paid
