The staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is very good, and the location is perfect for seeing Zurich and enjoying the ambience of this great city. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Zurich!

Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was well maintained. Breakfast was nicely done with fresh breads, fruits, etc and an extended menu if desired.

The location could not be better. However, as a couple in love we wanted to be close and the double rooms with separate beds you have to push together to sleep close.....etc.....did not work well because of the wood floors. When we were fully enchanged my lover would land on the floor between the beds.....other than that the stay way lovely.

The hotel has an excellent location, a short and beautiful walk from the main train station, or a short tram ride. There are many good restaurants close by and shopping as well. It's also a very short walk to the Bahnhofstrasse and to the lake. The restaurant in the hotel has excellent food, and that is evident by the number of patrons, both local and foreign. The staff has been extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is always clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend staying at the Hotel Adler if you are visiting Zurich, and I will continue to stay there on my return visits!

Though we could easily hear the little kids who were very loud in the hallway (they were yelling and skating on their 'heelies'), I didn't notice any other normal level sounds from the hall or adjacent rooms. We were there in Oct and the comforters were nice and thick, very comfy and warm. Nice shower pressure and enough hot water. The rooms are on the small side, comparable to a lot of European rooms, but seemed extremely clean. I'd stay there again. Oh and there is a cheese smell from the fondue downstairs in the restaurant, it seems to be noticeable in the reception area and up the first stair section.

The booking was painless and everytihing in order when we arrived. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent. We only stayed two nights and therefore did not have much to do with the staff, but they were helpful and friendly when approached. I would recommend this Hotel for the location, as it was magic to step out into the hussle and bussle of Zurich.

Easy walk from train station. Room was small but clean. Breakfast was good.

You could not ask for a better location for shopping, access to the train station and great restaurants as well as the river. LOVELY! If you are looking for a quiet retreat away from the bustle of Zurich, choose another location. We wanted this full cultural experience of people, landmarks and culture for our girls, and were very pleased.
