The only negative side was that there really isn't a lot for kids to do there if not swimming in the indoor pool (during the winter months) and the problem is that it is small, the hygiene there is questionable because people wear their shoes onto pool-side, no lockers available, and on top of this it was "often" closed (during holidays, for example!) If you have small children as I do (ages 3, 6, and 9) it's hard to keep them occupied especially if you don't play golf. We went to Tenerife for the sun in December, which we got, but it would have been nice to be able to do something else as well (the "kiddie club" was a monstrous joke -- even most shopping centers have better amenities). On the plus side, the staff was very nice, the maids courteous and efficient and the hotel in general was quite nice (except the coin-slot pool tables were constantly, but constantly broken) As far as the food goes, the breakfast was decent, the coffee absolutely awful though, and dinner buffet was always quite similar from one night to the next (I guess this is true for most hotels, though, coffee excepting). But there are plenty of very nice restaurants all around the hotel, and that was lovely. Bottom line: no kids, like golf, great, great place!
