Hotel Ai Mori D'Oriente, Cannaregio, Venice Reviewer: Andrew McGuinness Date of review: 5 May 2008 Recommends this hotel: YES Recommended for: Couples Room Hotel Facilities 4 Bed 5 Ambience 5 Cleanliness 4 Service 5 Room Size 4 Location 5 Amenities 4 Value for Money 4 Lovely smallish hotel in a quiet part of Venice, away from the crowds of San Marco but only 10 mins walk from the San Marcuola vaparetto stop (Grand Canal) and close to the boat stop from the Airport. Nowhere in Venice is too far to walk / use public vaparetto. Friendly helpful staff who will recommend and book evening restauants if you need them to.

With suite cases etc some walking and climbing up and down bridges would make getting to the hotel by alternative transport an arduous business. Hotel shows on its web site that dressing gowns were a feature of the room service. No dressing gowns were supplied.

Wellness area etc. It was not really big but nice and for Venice I guess ok.
