Comment on Hotel : The hotel is right by the train station, so very convenient for trains to Milan and for the bus from the airport which stops at the train station.
The attached Pizzeria is excellent, with good food, prices and service. A short walk gets you to other shops and bars.
The bus will take you to the old town and funicular - well worth the trip.
The hotel is clean, breakfast is excellent for a continental hotel and the staff were friendly. We left our bags in a room until 1800 on the day of departure which was very useful
