Albergotto Hotel Florence continues the tradition of the "casa albergo", dating from the days when it was appreciated and frequented by famous visitors. For a time the palazzo reverted to being a private residence, but after the Second War (when the Martelli family went to live in their country house) it re-opened as a hotel. Recently Albergotto Hotel Florence has been carefully restructured and restored by the Martelli family. This hotel was brilliant!

No lift is available from ground floor to lst floor reception area. This requires step-climbing and may be difficult for those who have problems climbing.
