The Altstadthotel Amadeus Salzburg is located directly in the pedestrian zone and only a few minutes to walk from most of the famous sights and the festival halls. The Mirabell gardens and the Mozart Museum are only a few steps away!

Approximate driving time to Altstadthotel Amadeus is 15 minutes and distance is 12 kilometres (7.5 miles).

Getting there:
Bus number 2 departs Salzburg Airport every 10 minutes for Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Bus services are also available to Tyrol and Bavaria. Taxis are available outside the airport terminal to the city centre. All prices subject to change.

Getting around:
The best way to explore Salzburg is on foot. There is also an inexpensive bus and tram system, and a network of cycle paths. Cars are banned from parts of the Old Town and driving is not recommended for visitors.
