However it was quiet and the air-conditioning was efficient there was no plug for the washbasin, but otherwise the bathroom was excellent with a good shower It was useful to have several different types of breakfast available. The reception staff were very helpful and efficient

A friend recommended the Silken Ambassador for its location and cleanliness, and both met my expectations. The front desk is well staffed and all have good knowledge of the area. In addition to being close to La Rambla, there are delightful restaurants about a block from the hotel. Just exit the hotel and turn left and Olivia's coffee shop is a clean, modern space for tea or coffee. Further is Carmaletta's a French restaurant with a terrific menu that is reasonable in cost. In the room there was no street noise. The only noise came from the rather loud fan that came on every time the bathroom light was turned on. This was the only drawback to the room, but more of a nuisance than a problem. The room was quite large and the air conditioning was sufficient. Can't wait to return to Barcelona and would definitely book a room at Silken Ambassador.

One bed did not have overhead light. Room was very dark and very hot. Air conditioning did not work properly. Sockets in room very dangerous - came out of the wall when touched.

Also the prices you have are good. Requires a lighter color.

No bedside table/caninet on one side.
