Overview
 Hotel Anne D'anjou Chateaux Saumur has been reinstructed throughout and now has 45 rooms offering three-star comforst and facilities. Five of these rooms, on the first floor, still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods), and the decor in most luxurious of these, which is in a pure Empire style, was actually designed by Percier and Fontaine, who were the Emperor Napoleon I's architects. All the historic mouldings which could be conserved have been restored with particular attention. The rooms giving onto the Loire offer a splendid view of the sunrise and sunset while, at night, those facing the charming interior courtyard enjoy a view of the floodlit chateau above.
