Overview
Residenza Cannaregio Hotel Venice was originally an ancient artisan establishment, called "Squero" and was formerly a place where gondolas were built. It is located near to the Jewish Ghetto (Campo De Gheto Novo) which is the oldest in Europe. The area is very typical of authentic Venetian taste and extremely peaceful. Here guests can breath the air of the real Venice, off the tourist track, surrounded by artisant workshops, old fashioned bookbinders and busy local market places.
The hotel is located in Cannaregio, one of the most authentic and picturesque areas of the city, a few steps away from the Campo De Gheto Novo, the oldest Jewish settlement in Europe and not far from Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. The hotel is easy to reach by public boats and is provided with a private access for the gondolas and water taxi on St. Alvise Canal.
To enjoy your stay, an attentive staff is ready to satisfy the guest in the bar "Al Grappolo" where could taste fine wine and to "Al Piron" restaurant that offers you a' la carte menu with typical and international courses served on the "terrace" in the romantic venetian atmostphere of the inside garden.
