Fabulous desayuno!
When a restaurant say "breakfast included," it's always a pleasant surprise to be offered more than decent coffee and a roll. the hotel artheus in salamanca served a spread so beautiful, we could hardly believe it! freshly squeezed oj, eggs, sausages,
... bacon, jamon, bread, varieties of rolls, jams and marmalades, poached pears, fresh pears, other fresh fruit (i don't recall), bananas drizzled with caramel and nuts, flan, and some very dessert-y pastries. there was also cereal and muffins, endless coffee refills, and tea - all included in the price of the room! the room, by the way, was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom sparkled. this hotel is a very good value for the money, and very well situated in beautiful salamanca! very pleasant and helpful staff added to our most enjoyable stay.
