Built in 1923 as a grand Bank, the building was extensively renovated with many original features restored in 1998 to create The Bank Hotel Edinburgh, and which was refurbished in February 2008.

This hotel was brilliant!

Windows did not open to allow in fresh air.
Little space for clothes storage e.g. drawer space.
TV reception was very poor or non existent except for one foreign channel. Requests for improvement went without action or apology.
No elevator made hauli...
