Overview
The Bartley Lodge Hotel Southampton was built in 1759 as a hunting lodge for the founder of the new forest Hounds. No expense was spared on the design and the craftsmen who lovingly undertook the superb interior used only the finest of English oak and other materials. Today, the Bartley Lodge Hotel Southampton is a very fine listed building and, upon entering you will be welcomed into the grand oak paneled hall with itsminstrel's gallery and fireplace.
There are 31 bedrooms all of which have en suite bath/shower or shower facilities, colour television, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and many rooms enjoy uninterrupted views of the grounds. Leisure facilities include an indoor pool, sauna and mini gymasium. Within the grounds are two hard surface, all-weather tennis courts.
The Crystal Restaurant, which has been awarded an AA Rosette, is a truly beautiful and elegant dining room offering a superb varied menu. Bartley Lodge is a most civilized retreat in a rural setting, giving you the best of today with the charm of yesterday.
