Overview
Hotel Bayrisches Haus Potsdam is a small, privately owned five-star-hotel in the heart of the Potsdam Wildpark forest. The house was originally built by the Prussian king, Friedrich-Wilhelm IV in 1847 for his wife, Elisabeth. The Hotel Bayrisches Haus Potsdam was recently completely refurbished to very high standards. Nowadays you will find here not only a place of refuge and relaxation, but also an excellent gourmet restaurant and a wonderful homely atmosphere. Potsdam, voted city of culture, and its many castles, gardens and other sights are only ten minutes away. A brief selection of the events that Potsdam has to offer is as follows: Music festivals and open-air concerts in castles, gardens and other such delightful places. The so called "Schloessernacht", (meaning "night of the castles"), where it is possible to walk around in the castles and gardens right the way through the night, whilst enjoying smaller open-air concerts and a romantic firework display.
