From AI North and A69 (Scotland): If coming from Scotland join the A1 South when sign-posted. Following the A1, cross over the River Tyne. Take slip road sign-posted A692 Consett, continue on this road for 2 miles until you come into Sunniside. Take A6076 to Stanley (left at main traffic lights), continue 3 miles, the hotel is situated on the left-hand side, behind the Causey Arch public House.
