The location was ideal, near to the centre but far enough away to be in a quiet location. I would definitely return to the hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

Therefore, to expect to pay exorbitantly for such amenities as local telephone calls. internet access, and coffee (3.95 Euros for a tiny espresso) seems excessive. And to have the server demand the money prior to serving is rude in the extreme. Heated too much.
