This was my first trip to Ireland and the hotel was a positive part of my visit. The hotel is attractively old-fashioned and the room was of a generous size with very good, modern amenities. Breakfasts were of good quality and quantity. Being close to the main road means that there is some traffic noise but I did not find this too much of a problem. It is a couple of miles from the city centre but easily accessible. I could walk to the rail station in 25 minutes; allow another 10 to get into the centre. I hope to go back to the area next year and would have no hesitation about returning to it.

The breakfast was superb, the complex and rooms were clean. The back garden was a wonderful oasis for travellers. The location was on a very busy road but nonetheless was found easily and within a good walk to town and good access to public transport. Car park available. We really liked it, the only thing was the sheets on the bed were clean but getting too thin, the blanket prickling through the sheet was uncomfortable and an updated bedcover would really help. Good value a great stay just a pity about the bedding being too old.

Internet access is by Wi Fi, so if you dont have wi fi, dont take Laptop.
