We enjoyed our stay in Florence enormously and much of that was due to the excellent location of the Brunalleschi, between the Duomo and the Uffitzi. It was so delightfully central that we were even able to pop back for a siesta if we wanted and get to places easily before the queues. The staff were great - and good breakfasts.

This is a very nice hotel at a reasonable rate (for Florence). The staff is very friendly, competent, and helpful. The hotel is in a very good location, convenient to museums, restaurants, and shopping. I would eagerly go back to this hotel (but would request a room away from the main street). The room was larger than we expected and the bathroom was quite nice. However, it seems that if you get a room that fronts Calzaioli Street (a main thoroughfare) you might have a hard time sleeping with all of the noise-making people on that street into the wee hours of the morning.
