Overview
Decidedly among the most outstanding of 3 star hotels in Venice. What is now Best Western Hotel Ala Venice was in fact a proprietarily house, of which historical traces exist from the early eighteenth century, as can be seen on paintings, including one by Canaletto. The building was made into a hotel only in the 1960s and it has been managed by the Salmaso family for over 15 years.
Best Western Hotel Ala Venice is located at a short walk from the Accademia Bridge and St. Mark's Square, overlooking the amazing S.Maria del Giglio Square; the Hotel has canal view rooms and direct access by taxi-boats and gondolas. All rooms, recently renovated in different styles (Classical, Baroque and typical Venetian) offer superior comforts.
