We were concerned at first because we were right next to the elevator, but we never even noticed it. The location is great - within walking distance to the city center, public transportation, as well as shops and several good to excellent restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the surrounding buildings and the people passing by. The only thing that was less than perfect was that the location of our room meant that the nightclub was somewhat noisy a couple of nights. It was not bad on Friday night. On Sunday night, it was a bit noisy, but as soon as we mentioned it to the front desk, it got quiet. We plan to stay there again the next time we're in Oslo.

Very good ! If I go to Oslo again, I would book the same hotel.

The food was fresh; the taste was great, and the variety was amazing.

We chose this hotel based on it being in a "quiet residential area". It was very noisy at night, since our room was right above the bar, with outside seating. It was hard to get a good night's sleep.
