From South: On A1M after Washington Services, turn left into A1 and turn left again into Gateshead South A167 till Tyne Bridge. Take the first exit right after the bridge which is for east and Tynemouth A1058. Turn left at the mini roundabout into Osbourne Road B1600. New Kent Hotel Newcastle is 1/2 mile along on the left.

From North: On A1, take the exit to Gosforth and Gosforth Park A1056 and turn right at the first roundabout into B1318. Then, go through the built up area until a roundabout and turn left onto the A189. At the traffic lights, turn right into Osbourne Road B1600.
