Good food and fine breakfast. Decent room , and particularly helpful and friendly personnel ! Very kind personnel indeed.

The only annoying thing was that the card keys to get into the room kept getting deactivated all the time, this seemed to happen to lots of people in the hotel.

Although I didn't expect too much, I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent and courteous service provided. The reception desk and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. And as a bonus, the restaurant food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. After a long day of sightseeing, it was very nice to tuck into a lovely goats cheese and spinach tart with glass of Chardonnay. As a mum away for a brief holiday, it was like a restful retreat for me. However, my complaints were with the uncomfortable bed mattress and the coffee/tea cream gone off. Still, the nice staff service even offset those problems. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others (I already did to by B'ham friends) and won't hesitate to stay in it again when I return to B'ham. Cheers.

Personally there was agonizing aspect in that outside telephone lines in the hotel was not functioning, beside some of the staff could not communicate in English.

The staff was very friendly and the food was good value and of good quality. The location of the hotel is excellent for people interested in visiting the city centre of Birmingham.
