Situated at only a 5 mn-walk from the bus stop, so convenient enough when you're on foot. Good food and fine breakfast. Decent room , and particularly helpful and friendly personnel ! Very kind personnel indeed.

The hotel was ideal for the purpose of our weekend...visiting the NEC, is good value for money and has free parking. The only annoying thing was that the card keys to get into the room kept getting deactivated all the time, this seemed to happen to lots of people in the hotel.

great value for money

i must say it was my first stay in birmingham as i was going to the motorbike show in the NEC
the staff where brilliant and had a nice parking space for our motorcycles, grub was very good every time no complaints and the rooms where ideal my only moan
as the bar might stay open a little longer
looking forward to go again next year

I had booked with the B'ham Campanile mostly due to its lower cost and relative closeness to the city centre. Although I didn't expect too much, I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent and courteous service provided. The reception desk and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. And as a bonus, the restaurant food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. After a long day of sightseeing, it was very nice to tuck into a lovely goats cheese and spinach tart with glass of Chardonnay. As a mum away for a brief holiday, it was like a restful retreat for me.

However, my complaints were with the uncomfortable bed mattress and the coffee/tea cream gone off. Still, the nice staff service even offset those problems.

I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others (I already did to by B'ham friends) and won't hesitate to stay in it again when I return to B'ham.

Cheers.

Considering the value for money is suitable taking into account that accommodation is expensive in Britain. Personally there was agonizing aspect in that outside telephone lines in the hotel was not functioning, beside some of the staff could not communicate in English.

The rooms were clean and kept clean by the hotel staff. The staff was very friendly and the food was good value and of good quality. The location of the hotel is excellent for people interested in visiting the city centre of Birmingham.
