Campanile Hotel, Krakow

The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the city. we had a wonderful relaxing stay. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and catered for our needs. Only breakfast was sought by us at the hotel, as this was all that we required. There are many places to eat within the vacinity of the Campanile Hotel. When we decide to visit Poland again we would very definately use the same hotel and would recommend it to others for its location, convenience, friendly service, facilities and affordable price. I took many photographs of the city during our stay in Krakow but unfortunately forgot to save them to the computer before deleting them from the camera. I will now have to make the trip again. So unable to share photographs taken. Thankyou
Good choice, excellent value

We thought the Campanile was a good hotel, in a very good locaton and was excellent value at 180PLN per night for two, B&B, including local tax booked through Holiday City. (It would cost around 100PLN more booking directly with the hotel or through other websites. The hotel is just on the edge of the old town, overlooking The Planty park and is just a couple of minutes walk to the main square. It is also handy for walking to and from Krakows main bus and train station. There are loads of bars cafes and restuarants on the doorstep and most of the rest of things worth visiting or seeing in Krakow are no more than 10 or 20 minutes walk. It is a modern, efficient, spotlessly clean hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Most, if not all staff speak good English. There was wide choice of breakfast eats although the small hot selection could have been replenished more often and the coffee wasn't up to much. Having tea/coffee making facilities in the room was great and in my experience quite unusual in continental Europe. Given the heat in room (see below) having bottles of mineral water supplied every day was also very welcome. Another minor criticism would be that the room was too hot and the thermostatic control either didn't work or it worked very slowly. Sleeping was therefore a bit uncomfortable. Maybe the beds have a plastic mattress protector which added to the overheating.
