I was not aware when I booked that there was significant roadworks going on directly outside the hotel, which were very noisy during the day, and tended to start from about 5.30am/6.00am.

Unfortunately, there was the construction and digging going on next door on the road and the noise was unbearable especially early morning. The room space was a bit cramped due to a corner room.

The hotel location was fine. Our room was located immediately on a courtyard which was frequented by pedestrians who were quite loud throughout the night. I didn't feel like I was in a private location. At 2:00 AM water began leaking from the ceiling, waking us up and obviously creating quite a mess. The staff quickly put us in another room to sleep and dealt with the problem as well as can be expected.
