The 4 star Hotel Catalonia Majorica is situated along the central south coast of Majorca, in the residential Bonanova district of the historic City of Palma. Extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern Hotel Catalonia Majorica has a total of 168 guest rooms which are built over 6 floors around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a ceiling fan, safety deposit box available for hire, direct dial telephone, satellite television with pay-per-view movies, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. For business guests, the Hotel Catalonia Majorica also offers the use of 3 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the bay which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The food in the main restaurant was excellent. The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. I could not fault my stay. The lift to the road below was out of action for a few days which was inconvenient but I had a rented car so did ...
