Bettoja Hotel Relais Certosa Florence is located on 15 acres of a park-like setting surrounded by olive trees, cypresses, pines and oak trees. Originally created as a guest quarters in 1400, it was enlarged in the nineteenth century and in 1975 to become part of the Bettoja Hotel Group. It was renovated along with other buildings on the property to make a total of 63 rooms and 6 suites, some decorated in rustic Tuscan style and some modern.
The rooms and suites overlook the magnificent park setting surrounding them, and have a view of the Tuscan hills and the Certosa. We are a mother and 2 adult daughters travelling together. We found the location great since it has a free shuttle bus and it is right on the city bus route. Very easy to access the bus terminal and the train station. The grounds are very nicely kept...
