The only downside to this hotel is its distance from Dublin city center. Having said that if you have a hire car or are able to catch a taxi from the tram stop (about 2 miles) its not that big a problem. Staff very professional and friendly. Breakfast, as much as you can eat and very good quality.Help yourself to fresh fruit juice, cereals, bread and fruit then get served at the food bar with a FULL Irish breakfast. Rooms are very spacious, ours had a double bed, flat screen tv,large ensuit, tea and coffee and a view over the pond and golf course. It also had an interconnecting door to the next door room (handy for us as we were a party of four). On our stay many (very) famous boxers were also stopping there for some TV show (yes it is that good a hotel). I don't play golf but the hotel is set within its own beautiful golf course with tens of buggies and golf club trollys outside ready for you to play.
Cant wait to go back

I booked this Hotel as I did have a car as its a little out of town, I did not have to try the public transport so could not comment on how difficult or expensive it would be. THe staff were fantastic and could not do enough to help they even put a fridge in my room for baby milk it was offered as I booked in not requested. The room was large, spotless and breakfast is a feast of fresh fruit yoghurt and then if you can manage it a full Irish. The value for money was fantastic, I would use this hotel again on my next trip, I thought I must have only paid a deposit as the price is such good value. I will try and use the pool next time and if you are a golf lover its perfect. The only down side its a long walk to the car park!

Nice large rooms. Beds could be upgraded. Staff was quick to fix broken door handel on closet and to assist with connection to the internet. I appreciated the free internet service and toll free calls placed from the room. The spa services were booked - I wish I could have tried some of their services. Meeting rooms were excellent - although it was hard to navigate between buildings and rooms. It would have helped to have a better map of the meeting rooms.
Perfect Stay
Stayed at City West due to a show being held there. We stayed in the Golf Club, it was fantastic I cannot say anything bad about it. The hotel was extremely busy due to football matches and Lord of The Rings Show being held on that weekend. The room was spacious, clean and overall very good. The breakfast which was included in our price of €130 was all you could eat there was no limit and again faultless. I would recommend a stay in this hotel any time of the year. There is also a leisure complex but we didnt use it so I cannot comment on it. I will definitly be staying in The City West again.
Ate in Lemongrass Resturant was lovely would recomend it,Staff very friendly throughout the whole hotel, will be back. Rooms very very clean, spacious
