The room was upgraded (free)) without us even asking, and the patio was wonderful. We faced the Cathedral, so keep that in mind (the bells!) if you are a light sleeper. The location was super. Walk to everything, including an organic market, and all the shopping! Staff was the best. Very helpful with taxi, luggage, and any questions.

It was a very nice room, not very large but a very nice balcony. However, we asked again for a room with 2 beds and they moved us to a different room which was larger but no balcony so it was a trade off. The balcony would have been very nice but in reality, we wouldn't have spent much time on it. I had stayed in this hotel 5 years ago and really liked it. Their service is excellent and their location in the city of Barcelona can't be beat!

Both elegant and cosy. Hardly any traffic noise.
