Overview
The Colonna Palace Hotel Rome is a first categoy superior hotel located in one of the most characteristic neighbourhoods of old Rome, amid historical monuments and sixteenth-century houses and workshops. The common areas in the lobby are furnished with period pieces and are split into corners and lounges with large windows overlooking the Square, the Obelisk and the entrance to the Parliament Building. The complex is completed by two independent meeting rooms each able to accomodate 20 people, besides the Cocktail lounge and lobby lounge areas. The most characteristic part of the Hotel is the Roof Garden. This is located on the 6th floor. From the charming terrace guests have a splendid panoramic view of "Old Rome", with corners of unequalled beauty. The hotel has 110 rooms, including 5 suites, all with bathroom, air-conditioning, telephone, colour TV and minibar, and furnished with sober and refined elegance. Access to the hotel is from Piazza Montecitorio, the natural continuation of Piazza Colonna, but also from Via Colonna Antonina, onto which faces the south side of the building. |
