The hotel looked fine from the outside - in a narrow street in central Rome just around the corner from the Termini which was very handy. In the hotel was a small reception area and 2-seater sofa in lobby - no room for anything else. First impressions - very small narrow hotel. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. She was extremely helpful throughout our stay with sightseeing information, places to eat and how to get around plus provision of a readable very useful street map. The room (on 4th floor) was very small. The double bed took up most of the room. Very large flat screen tv fixed on wall. No view from the window as on a side room but even the front street rooms had only a street view. Very clean and bathroom well equipped with towels, facecloths, shampoos etc. Even a toothbrush with a small tube of toothpaste! Minibar in room very reasonably priced - not as expensive as others experienced. Bedding changed every day plus daily cleaning. Good variety of continental breakfast. The hotel does not offer meals other than breakfast. The bar was part of the breakfast area and served minimal spirits, liqueurs and drinks although has a roof terrace and a small lounge with two 2-seater sofas, so not big. Roof terrace ok, but no views of anything but the buildings next door and opposite and shut during autumn/winter months. To conclude, the hotel is a basic clean place to sleep and refresh oneself and a good base for siteseeing. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. I would class this hotel as 3 star not 4 star due to lack of facilities in the hotel i.e. proper bar/lounge, views etc.

The hotel is ideally situated with regard to transfers to and from airports, and to venture out and about in the city centre; also ideal for local transport. The breakfast and bar facilities are more than adequate and situated in pleasant surroundings.

We found the facilities very good, and staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculately clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return both to Rome and the hotel. We have already recommended the hotel to friends.

We took all with us except for the sandwiches...I regret that we could not have given them to someone in need. We were very content with the pillow service, as we think pillows amount to a good night's sleep. Also the front desk person was very alert to organizing us...

Once inside you will find a clean tidy efficient Hotel. the staff are realy helpfull and our rooms were good. The roof top breakfast/bar terrace was excellent. The immediate location is not brilliant but we never felt unsafe - walk a few hundred yards to shops, bars, restaurants, supermarket - also we found we could walk to most of the tourist spots. The underground was about 5 minutes walk and the main station about 10. We would definately go back.

You couldn't turn around in the shower without bumping your elbows and there was no hot water one morning

This was my 3rd stay at the hotel.

The staff in the rooftop garden was friendly, provided great service and kept it clean, and the flowers were beautiful!! the room was simple but tastefully decorated, comfortable & clean. It was on the small side but that was not a negative thing.
