The opera house is also next door and many wonderful little cafes and restaurants. It is a short walk to the Colosseum and forum. I have paid twice as much in Rome for a place near the Trevi Fountain that was a nightmare. The rooftop garden where breakfast is served makes this a little home in Rome. Excellent air conditioning allows you to keep out the street noise. The rooms are quite large for Rome with high airy ceilings.

Roof top breakfast/bar is a bonus, very relaxing. The stay was made more enjoyable by the friendly, efficient and helpfull staff.

The room was pleasent, clean, and very comfortable.

Internet, bank, laundry within next block, also many fine small restaurants. Feels safe, even busy at night to walk. Fabulous rooftop garden for eating breakfast or wine late in afternoon. Attached to breakfast room-sitting area. Had newspapers in about 5 languages, including English. Make good cappuchino, and the breakfast spread best we found in Italy...includes meats, cheeses, great yogurt, hard boiled eggs and all types of cakes-pastries. Juice-water as well as tea. Front desk spoke some English and helpful with directions. Buy a Roma pass for 3 days transport and two free museums at airport or information shops nearby. Metro is also at train station and easy to take around city. Not very large, but with private window that opens and shutters, safe, very functional bath with excellent soap-shampoo. Take your own travel clock. Lots of hangars, and fairly quiet.

By European city standards, this was an excellent room. The only problem was that the mini-bar was not well stocked.
