We are a mature couple from Ireland who were travelling around Switzerland by rail. Hotel Cornavin is beside Cornavin railway station and is an excellent location for trains and for down town. Our room was large,bright,very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not included in the price for staying at this hotel,but with a kettle and fridge in the room that is not an issue. We would be delighted to stay here again and recommend it unreservedly.

Everybody can go in and ask for a specific room key without beeing asked for the name or so. We once even got a wrong key!

The location is great if you need to get on a train and for the downtown. The hotel is right next to the train station but with the windows closed there is no noise at all. The room we stayed in was large for Europe and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was an excellent size much bigger than most over in Europe. Room was clean and the furniture in good condition. Staff were excellent, they spoke many languages and were always very helpful. Would stay here in future when visiting GVA

I especially appreciated the view and breakfast provided at the Panorama Room. The hotel staff was pleasant, efficient and responsive to requests for service. The room was effectively organized and provided sufficient amenities to make for a pleasant space.

The only difficulty I had with the amenities was that the email was excrutiatingly slow at the hotel. The other problem was my phone line 'crackled' and although I had mentioned it to staff there did not seem to be any action on it. Otherwise, very good place to stay in Geneva. This was a great hotel and I really enjoyed my room on level 8 which had great views and next to the breakfast area.
