Overview
This luxurious hotel, Cortijo la Reina is situated in a garden full of very old trees. The hotel is part of a 150,000 m2 land, located near the Montes de Malaga Natural Park. The hotel remarkable situation, 800m high, makes possible to enjoy beautiful views to the sea and the valley. Close to the hotel are Colmenar, Archidona, Casabermeja and other villages in the Montes de Malaga region. Many golf courses are also in the region.
The land has several pathways to walk around and enjoy nature. Besides olives, pines, almond trees and holms oaks, there is a wide variety of fruit trees: orange, grapefruit and kiwi trees, avocados and so on, up to a total of 27 species. Likewise, there is a wide variety of bird species that live in the land: sparrows, chaffinches, woodpeckers, goldfinches, eagles and sparrow hawks, among others.
