Last night of holiday
We tour europe for a fortnight each year on motorbikes, and always stay in ghent on the way home, a nice short journey to the boat. we found this hotel several years ago and have found it so good that we always reserve a room here for the last night
... before the boat. the staff are always really helpful and also knowledgeable about the area and anything special that is happening. we only need to leave ghent at about 2pm on the day the boat sails so we need to leave our leathers, helmets and luggage. the staff are happy to look after these for us and also happy for us to leave the motorbikes in the garage until we are ready to depart. they then will find somewhere that we can get changed into our leathers. this all ensures that we have a really relaxing final day before returning home and after being on the road for two weeks this is always looked forward to. we have stayed in a different room every time we have visited here and have found all of them really comfortable and as i have said the staff are excellent. till next year then!
