The main drawback is the carting of luggages from wherever you have parked your car to the Hotel and back. I do appreciate space is at a premium. The room was good. I would go back but not in a hurry.

Romance was in the air. Very clean although a little aged. However, this was the only location I stayed at during my trip where I felt the wait staff was angry with the drove of tourists and made it evident they were only willing to serve if a huge tip was in the making. I found this attitude especially evident at the eating area in front of the hotel.

If you want golf and spa etc then go to La Manga, if you want a typical 5* italian hotel with first class service and wonderful views of Positano then come to the Covo. With regards to service, i bought a shirt in Positano and wanted to wear it that night but it needed ironing, although there are no irons in the rooms they operate a daily express laundry service but i needed the shirt ironing within the hour, the reception were only too happy to help and a maid came to the room picked up the shirt and returned it 20 mins later well ironed...this is just one example of how helpful they were. The rooftop pool is also a fantastic place to bathe and enjoy food from the restaurant. We had an exec room which was very spacious with Jacuzzi and had a balcony with breathtaking views of Positano, the beach and the sea. Very Clean with daily maid service.
