Covo Dei Saraceni Positano is within easy reach of Amalfi, which boasts one of Italy's most spectacular cathedrals, Mount Vesuvius, Pompei and the beautiful island of Capri. Naples Capodichino Airport is 65 kilometres away (90 minutes). Covo Dei Saraceni Positano s a delightful, family-owned hotel and the only one on the beachfront. Having started life as a seafront restaurant, it has been transformed over the years into the charming hotel it is today.
The guest rooms range from medium-size to spacious, most with views over the water. Wooden furniture, paving in cotto, windows which constitute great picture frames around the blue sea. The great terrace of the Covo dei Saraceni faces the sea.
In the Savino Restaurant, in which delicate pale colored texiles have been used for the upholstery, drapes and cushions, guests are served the freshest fish, home made pasta, and numerous local delicacies. The breakfast room, on the first floor of the hotel, takes its name from the great lilac bougainvillea which flowers here from early spring to late summer.
Enjoy drinks and light snacks as you relax by the rooftop seawater pool with its stunning views over the main beach, the ocean and across to the towns nestled against the cliffs. The swimming pool is open between 9.00am and 6.00pm.

This hotel was brilliant!

The Hotel itself is good and with beutifull views and location.
The main drawback is the carting of luggages from wherever you have parked your car to the Hotel and back.
I do appreciate space is at a premium.
The room was good.
I would go back but...
