Initially I thought it was a problem with the window in our room and reported this to reception on the first morning. I was advised that maintenance would look/repair this after 9.30am. Upon arriving back after being out all day, the noise from the street could still be heard clearly, not ideal with a two year old and quite disappointing hence the hotels rating for value for money

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was excellent and the amenities superb, including high speed Internet access. Great value for a reasonable price. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub, where we had fun socializing with local folks. Breakfast, which was included with the room, was excellent. The location is perfect--on the river and a short walk to Albert Dock. Also walking distance to the Cavern Club. We would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it highly.

We were on 2nd floor and there was a disco directly underneath. I was unable to sleep although my friend had no problem. I rang Reception who put me on to the manager. He was sympathetic but his efforts did not appear to make any difference. Enjoyed the aspect of Princes Dock from the room.

Also we were not told about the swimming pool which we only discovered on checking out. Staff in the bar and restaurant were very good. a hairdryer in the room would have been useful.
