However, it was only with great persuasion (& their discussions with their Manager) that I managed to get them to accept the e-mail that I had (& gave them) which quoted the room rate that had been confirmed to me following my HolidayCity internet booking. The internet rate being lower than that, that they believed it should have been.

The room we had was fantastic! Big windows to let the light in during the day, and although it was small was cosy and warm.
