The Hotel De Lanzi is an establishment of notable history. Located in the heart of Florence close to Giotto's bell tower, it is a short walk from all of Florence's main attractions. The recent refurbishment of the hotel was undertaken with great attention so that the furniture and decor take their inspiration from the classical beauty that this great city is known for.
The architectural design and colour schemes can be compared to the styles present in the historical monuments that surround the hotel. The hotel is created to revive the romantic and enlightened environment of the classical Florentine house, that inspired locals and foreigners alike in the age of renaissance, when Florence was the artistic centre of the western world.
The Hotel De Lanzi boasts 44 rooms all delightfully decorated in the infamous Tuscan 16th century style and many of which have the luxury of over-looking the world famous cathedral. As well as staying close to Italian cultural and historical heritage, the hotel have also embraced modernity, supplying their guests with all the mod cons the regular traveller has come to expect.
All rooms have the luxury of hand-embroidered bedspreads typical of the local artisans, and the decor throughout is inspired by the culture that surrounds the Italians. Hotel De Lanzi also have a well stocked bar that guests may like to use for an aperitivo before diner, or relax in after a long day seeing the unique sights Florence has to offer.
