The underground station Castro Pretorio is around the corner and Termini central station is a mere 5 minutes on foot. All major sights, museums and shopping areas in Rome can easily be reached on foot or by public transport from the hotel. Directions to the hotel:
From Termini Station: Exit the train station from the side entrance at track no. 1, taking a left onto via Marsala. Then take the first right onto via Vicenza, walk straight for five blocks and turn left into via Villafranca. Hotel Des Artistes Rome is 20 meters ahead on your right.
From Fiumicino - Leonardo Da Vinci Airport: Exit airport by following direction Roma. Take exit that says "Cristoforo Colombo - Roma Centro". Go straight ahead until you arrive at Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano, from there take the Via Merulana until the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, take a right and you will be in front of Termini Station.
From Ciampino Airport: Exit airport onto Via Appia (direction Centro), take exit number 13 (Tiburtina, direction Centro), follow all the way through. You will find yourself on Piazzale del Verano. From there, take Via C. De Lollis. When you see the arches coming up, pass them and take a right onto Viale Castro Pretorio. You are now on the street that goes parallel to Via Villafranca. Turn left onto via Vicenza and the first right onto via Villafranca, Hotel Des Artistes Rome will on your right.
From Florence: On the motorway towards Rome, take the Exit "Roma Nord", you will be on the Beltway (follow direction Napoli - Tiburtina or Roma - Aquila). Take exit number 13 (Tiburtina, direction centro), follow all the way through. You will find yourself on Piazzale del Verano. From there, take Via C. De Lollis. When you see the arches coming up, pass them and take a right onto Viale Castro Pretorio. You are now on the street that goes parallel to Via Villafranca. From Naples: Exit the motorway onto the Rome beltway (direction Firenze - Tiburtina), take exit number 13 (Tiburtina, direction centro), follow all the way through.
