The rooms were ok but it would have been nice if there had been tea/coffee facilities in the room, especially as there didn't seem to be much in the way of room service or a bar. Breakfast was very good, and the location was central to shops & trains. Very reasonable price.
Dear Sir, The best thing was that the kind lady in the reception allowed me to leave the car in the rear part of the hotel. So I did not have parking problems. I liked that you did not use my credit card, and I coult pay cash.
As soon as we stepped into the door of Hotel Deutsches Theater the staff were more than helpful. Throughout our stay they were always courteous, friendly and a wealth of knowledge for our stay in Munich. The hotel itself was very clean, a short walk to the city centre, and the restaurant downstairs was fantastic. The location was not an overly family friendly area, but being a minute walk to the main train station and a 5-10 minute walk to the town centre was more than great. We would stay here again anytime we are in Munich.
We believe that we got value for money in terms of the accomodation and are satisfied with the general service received during our stay The staff was most helpfull and made us feel welcome and at home

This hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the city's main square and the Christmas Markets, the purpose of our visits. It is not a deluxe hotel as stated on the website and not worth the nightly rate. As we were travelling without the children we had decided to upgrade our accommodation but this was disappointing. There was no bathrobe in the room nor was there any tea/coffee making facilities as stated on the website. Room was old fashioned but clean, extra large bed which was requested was two single beds pushed together. We did query this and were shown a double room but this was even smaller. Breakfast was only adequate, but the staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

Hotel Deutsches Theater is nicely located ...walking distance to the train station and to the center of Munich. Easy to get to and from. People were nice at the hotel. Food was excellent. They did have a computer and internet access that you could check your email for free..nice perk. But it was in the small lobby and you had to stand while checking your email etc. Beds were nice and comfy. Bathrooms were small and shower was not good. Very slippery and dangerous and very very SMALL!! We did ok in the showers but I was constantly cautious not to slip and fall. ANd the shower doors were such that the water ran all over the floor......they had a hair dryer for use, but you could not use it after you showered since there was water all over the floor (we were unable to unplug and move the hair dryer). Our window faced a small quaint square...very nice, until night time that is and you want to sleep. The workers at the establishment next door (rest and theatre) would come outside on their breaks (around 1 and 2am) and yell at the people that they were talking to on their moblie phone. They were very very loud and obnoxious! Then when we finally got back to sleep again....the delivery trucks et all begain making all kinds of noise around 6am. But that was not as bad as the yelling!. When it was time to check out (after a 5 day stay)...the guy asked me to pay for it waith CASH...even though the web site said credit cards and I sesured it with a credit card. CASH?? WHo carries around 300 - 400 EUROS in their wallet when staying at a pension/hostel type hotel?!? Breakfasts were nice, food was very good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful.
