Thought it was good on the whole
The hotel is right next to the tube stop which is 4-5 stops (depending on where you get off) from downtown. It took exactly 7 minutes to Muzek (?Spelling) and the tube ran very regularly - never had to wait more than 10 mins. The location is out in the sticks with little around it but the petrol station 2 mins walk (across a busy junction hence the two mins) does wine, beer, water, filled rolls, peanuts, etc. I'd booked my airport transfer ahead of time (just type "Prague airport shuttle" into google) and paid 600 crowns for an efficient service. So to the detail: Luckily I asked about internet access as I checked in. Some rooms can get to the WiFi and others can't. This explains the many people sitting in the foyer with their laptops. On this basis I was upgraded to a suite which was very nice. It felt like a luxurious hotel and the room was well appointed, the shower good (there was shampoo, etc), beds comfortable, etc. I think my TV had three English TV channels including BBC World news and Eurosport. Anyway, at my rate of €67 per night it was a steal. The downsides: 1. The T-mobile internet is a rip-off at ~GBP17 (~US$34) per 24 hours. However, it was available in my room and in the conference room. 2. The room has no iron (mine had a trouser press) but there is an ironing room on the 3rd floor. Ordinary (not steam) irons - this is not acceptable for a business class hotel. 3. Breakfast is a buffet for 350 (I recall) crowns (~GBP10). Its not possible to get a simple coffee and croissant and I didn't find any cafes nearby offering breakfast. If I was coming to Prague for a weekend I would consider staying here and taking the tube in & out of the town - especially if I got the same rate.
