Overview
 Hotel du Vin Brighton is situated in The Lanes conservation area, a pebbles throw from the seafront. Its 38 bedrooms are housed in a collection of eccentric Gothic revival and mock Tudor buildings erected appropriately by a wine merchant on the site of an old Brighton inn.

Among our many interesting features are heavily carved staircases and bizarre gargoyles, while the original double-height hall now houses our wine bar overlooked by the mezzanine bar.

Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, the Hotel du Vin Brighton’s Bistro offers a menu rooted in classic European cuisine with a contemporary edge. Here you will find ‘simple classics’ that change seasonally, with head chef, Rob Carr, adding his own selections daily, all supporting our philosophy of using the finest and freshest local produce, cooked simply, priced sensibly.

Hotel du Vin Brighton extensive and eclectic wine list is a key feature of the hotel. In addition to the main list, which includes an impressive array by the glass, there is a small daily selection of good value wines to complement the menu. Head sommelier, Mathieu Ouvrard, and his team are always happy to give friendly, knowledgeable advice.
