Elite Hotel Knaust Sundsvall is named after its founder, Gustaf Ferdinand Knaust, the first in the Knaust family who ran hotels in Sundsvall from 1860 until 1943. The original building burned down in 1888 and Knaust's successor, Adolf Fredrik Knaust, took this opportunity to replace it with a first-class hotel in the Central European, Art Nouveau style, which gave the hotel its widely spread reputation. Elite Hotel Knaust Sundsvall offers 94 rooms and all the rooms are well-equipped with convenient facilities for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
