The only 5 star facility certainly lived up to all expectations. Wonderful service from the Front Desk staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. The dining experience was a very special feeling enjoying the tradition of a professional Head Waiter with all the trappings of a top class service. Simple things like addressing his guests by name and offering his best opinions on the menu were appreciated. Add a fantastic room with solid timber decoration of more than three hundred years old and the very central location allowing us the freedom to wander the inner areas of Innsbruck with ease, and the result was a high level of satisfaction. The fact that there were hotel renovations in progress, with the entrance lounge disappearing from one day to the next, only to reappear within 24 hours in its new decor, and all without any real disruption to the quests was quite an achievement. The electric elevator operating outside our bedroom window in the early hours of Monday was however not so good as we had not been informed that this would happen. In any case, who would not wish to be up an out in the fantastic surroundings of Innsbruck as early as possible? We will certainly stay again on our next visit and look forward to seeing the result of the extensive renovation works.

Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to train station across the street and also to central city- just 10 minute walk past nice shops and restaurants. Buffet breakfast was very good and plentiful. Car parking also available by staff and reasonable overnight rates were convenient. If you are not wanting to sleep in the middle of the old center city, this is an excellent choice.

One of it's main attributes was their professional friendly staff. Clean tidy well equipped room with the benefit of air-conditioning.
