If you only want a great location! We booked a superior room and requested a nice view - we were given a dark room at the back of the hotel that overlooked the fire escapes, boilers and workings for the hotel - the air conditioning in our room was inadequate or didn't work (and wasn't fixed after we reported this on the 1st day of our stay) if we opened the window the noise from the back of the hotel was too loud - so the room was very hot. We found that once you had booked into the hotel you were left to your own devices, as the service from the front desks, both reception and the concierge were limited - or they just couldn't be bothered, after all they had a 5 star attitude (but if you tip enough then you are sure to be looked after!). Room service was a joke and asking for ice was like getting blood out of a stone. The pool area on the roof was very small and didn’t depict the space shown in the promotional photographs/material - you have to be up on the roof early to secure one of the very few sun beds! Make sure breakfast is included in the price of your room, or you may need to take out a small personal loan to cover the cost!!
